In January 1963, a group of 15 reported for duty at Star
Town. From that large group of experienced and graduated men, only a few didn't
actually made a spaceflight: Buinovski, Gulyayev, Kolodin, Kugno (all military engineers)
and Kuklin, Matinchenko, Vorobyov, Voronov (pilots).

Graduated from Higher Air Force School, 1962; Lieutenant
Colonel, Res. and pilot, Soviet Air Force; he flew 25 missions during the
Hungarian rebellion 1956; was selected as cosmonaut on 08.01.1963 (TsPK-2); OKP
(cosmonaut basic training): 1/63 - 21.01.1965; later he worked for Ministry of
Aviation Industry; since February 1992 retired. Died in 18.06.1999.
