Chernigov Higher Military Pilot School, 1966; civilian test pilot at LII; was
selected as cosmonaut for Buran-flights on 30.07.1980 (LII-1); OKP (cosmonaut
basic training): 12/78 - 7/80; was assigned as Co-Pilot for the first
Buran-flight, that should have taken place early 1992; he performed 14 training-flights; died in a crash of a Su-27 in an
air-show in Trevino (Italy).
